The Mission

I am a high school student taking a mission aviation training course. I will be completing two years of training in high school, and I will receive my Private Pilots License. I will go on a year of mission service using the skills I have learned. Would you join me in taking the Gospel to the world?

Why Aviation?

Imagine with me the impact one plane can have in the mission field. A village in the interior of Papua New Guinea that takes five days to reach by walking can now be reached by plane carrying life-giving medical supplies and services in an hour or two. Another village in Africa can get a Bible worker that has to work in multiple villages days apart. Still another village in South America can get the needed supplies for building a church in far less time than it would take to hike them over the mountains.

Mission Aviation Program

The Mission Aviation Program (MAP) is a project started by Oklahoma Academy a few years ago. The goal of this program is to teach students how to fly and for them to receive their Private Pilots License at the end of the course. Afterward, the students will complete a year of mission service using their Pilots License to be of service to others where it is most needed.

Progam Logistics

The Mission Program is free of charge to the students in it. All expenses are paid for by donors. We are taught every Sunday in a class how to raise a donor support base and we work on communication with our donors through newsletters and thank you cards. Part of God's work is through our donors. They get to experience an aspect of the mission work through supporting it and the missionary has a special job in keeping these donors connected to the work in the field. Would you like to take a special place in God's work?
